Through the rooms of the castle and its collection, they will discover the lifestyle in such a residence, the customs of the past, and the evolution of daily life in the castle.
For preschoolers, a short visit (45 minutes to 1 hour) follows the daily life of Valentine Walsh, a young girl who lived at Serrant during the time of Napoleon.
In middle school, the castle visit can be combined with an introduction to art history through tapestries, paintings, sculptures, and other works, many of which relate to mythological stories.

Fun Activities
For elementary schools and leisure centers, a full day can be organized at Serrant by combining a guided tour of the castle and park with fun activities.
A treasure hunt "In Search of the Lost Jewels" allows students to explore the castle independently to find the stolen jewels... Here too, powers of observation are required to find remarkable elements of the park and collect clues that will lead to the final objective. Picnicking can take place on site in the shade of centuries-old trees, or indoors in case of rain.
