Bathed in the natural light of the region, this large expanse has been entirely renovated to welcome at least 200 guests. The acoustics are sublime for the occasion, with traditional 17th century stone walls and ancient floor-tiles of exquisite taste.
We combine the old with the new: carefully situated wall sockets and special fittings for a sound system or microphone are available and flexible enough to suit any occasion.
This separate area from the main reception room is an impressive 50 metres squared (over 500 square feet). This allows a high number of catering staff to operate there, as well as accomodate a variety of portable heating ovens, general catering equipment and other items to service any type of reception.
The Orangerie has a 5000 square metre (just over one acre) garden and patio secluded by a picturesque high wall. There is also a raised esplanade/walkway where your guests can enjoy a stunning view onto the front of the Orangerie and the Chateau in the background. The 3500 square metre (one acre) lawn is available for a marquee or any other equipment to embellish your wedding reception or anniversary.
The esplanade/walkway is shaded by trees from noon onwards, a welcome respite from summer heat for your guests, allowing them a superb view of this beautiful location and the surrounding countryside. As the whole reception area is located within a walled space, this ensures privacy and added security for your wedding celebration or reception.
Another optional extra is to rent a lovely cottage, very close to the Orangerie. It is made up of two bedrooms and one dormitory for a total capacity of 19 people. Young children or those wishing for a short rest from the celebrations will find everything they need here.
